Director of Science, Agricultural Emissions

FLINTpro builds capability with further agricultural sector expertise on team and plans to enhance technology solutions for carbon accounting.

MELBOURNE, AU, April. 4, 2022 — FLINTpro welcomes to the team Dr Natalie Doran-Browne as our Director of Science: Agricultural Emissions. Natalie will be leading our science, research, and FLINTpro system development to build our farm carbon software solutions and meet the growing GHG reporting needs of the agriculture sector and global finance sector that invests in land related portfolio assets.

Natalie is an accomplished and highly respected Research Scientist with over 15 years research experience addressing climate change issues in the agricultural industry. With expertise in mitigating greenhouse gas emissions, calculating the carbon balance of farms and working towards carbon neutral farming, plus a focus on livestock systems, we are fortunate to have Natalie lead this important stream of our FLINTpro product development.

Natalie has experience with a wide range of computer simulation models to better understand and explore farm production issues around climate, economic outcomes, and the carbon sequestration potential for various farming systems.

With a Bachelor of Science (Hons) from Monash University and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from The University of Melbourne, on the biophsyical and economic impacts of greenhouse gas mitigation from agriculture, Natalie has expansive working knowledge of the issues our clients are facing.

And it’s clear that Natalie likes to keep herself Busy, with a capital B (pun intended). Natalie is the founder of two beekeeping companies. Her passion for improving the resilience of the honey bee population is what led her to beekeeping, and the premium production of 100% pure Australian honey.

We are so pleased to welcome Natalie to FLINTpro, and proud that she was attracted to work with our growingly diverse and talented team.
