FLINTpro’s new US Vice President of Environmental Policy and Technology

The FLINTpro team is expanding our talent and presence in the USA. 

CANBERRA, AU, May 2, 2022 — FLINTpro welcomes Oliver Miltenberger as our Vice President of Environmental Policy and Technology. 

Oliver is a well-known expert in climate change action and exceptionally well positioned to expand our mission. He brings over a decade of experience in technology development, policy design, and research including work with start-ups, non-profits, corporates, investors, and public sector services.

Worldly and big-picture oriented, Oliver is dedicated to working in partnership with FLINTpro to create solutions that not only meet the needs of burgeoning climate change policies, but to innovate advancements that will have lasting, disruptive impacts for the way we manage our natural systems. 

He holds multiple seats with groups such as the UN special Taskforce for Scaling Voluntary Carbon Markets (TSVCM), Integrity Council for VCMs, Young Climate Innovators at the World Bank, GHG Protocol, and UNFCCC roster of experts.  He is competent in Spanish and German, and his appreciation of land and culture extends to a love of mountain climbing, diving, fishing, foraging, and travel. 

Oliver is a PhD candidate in Environmental Economics with MSc degrees in Ecology and International Development and notable accolades from the World Economic Forum’s UpLink Awards, Climate Futures initiative, Harvard Travellers Fund, NASA’s DEVELOP National Prize for research, National Science Foundation Knowledge-Exchange Initiative, UC Berkeley Visiting Scholars program, and from the International Research Council in Australia.
